Intel Corp. has merged flexibility and customization its new product named as Next Unit of Computing or in short NUC. The compact and visually smart product is set to be available in the range of the Q4, 2012 and Q1, 2013 with features like 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i3 processor on a 4-by-4-inch motherboard and enclosed in a tiny case. What is Blu Ray Disk or BD?
Blue -ray Disk or BD is new optical disk format that offers 5 time more storage as compared to normal DVD. The new medium will supersede the existing DVD format. The BD is 120 mm in diameter and 1.2 mm in thickness which is same size as typical DVD’s and CD’s. Blu-ray discs are high density optical disks capable of storing 25 GB data at one layer and with dual layer BD this becomes 50GB.
